Need Stable Slot 1 m.b. for my server. Help Please!

My Abit BX6r2 just went out in my server, and I need a new board FAST.

I was wondering what boards our there are the most stable. Note: I will not be Overclocking, I don't need onboard anything. Just a good old STABLE board.

I would also like to get one with udma 100, but there are not many out there I know.

Sorry I just saw the ATA/100 spec - that means a very new board. Maybe better to use one of those I suggested with a Promise add-in controller card.

If you want a truly stable board, then the Intel SR440BX is the way to go. No tweaking though. Otherwise I would recommend the ASUS P3B-F.

I can't believe you ever used an ABIT motherboard on a server! What were you thinking about! The best boards for servers are Tyan's and Intel's; they're by FAR the most reliable (and by far the less overclockable). Tyan mobo's are a few bucks cheaper than Intel's but are just as good (both VERY STABLE). Just go on Tyan's web site and look for the Trinity 400 (s1854) since you just need a slot 1 mobo (and no need for dual-processing, right?). Look for a Thunder or Tiger serie of model if you need to use dual processors or a Xeon processor. The Asus is also a good choice. Just remember, if you your CPU runs at 100FSB (you said you aren't planning to overclock), go for a BX chipset, and nothing else! For 133FSB, i815 is actually the best choice, but the Via 133A based mobos like the Trinity 400 or P3V4X can be a good alternative.
