There are 2.5 to 3.5 adapters. Velcro also works.

Do you know if the Crucial m4 comes with an adapter? Or do you have to buy it separately?

Mine did not but I believe some kits do. Do you want to install it in an existing 3.5" drive bay?

It's so light that it can easily just hang in the air by SATAIII and Power cables.

I bought one of these but have it just laying in the case and not installed in a 3.5" drive bay.

Here's another one for lower price - http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0328852

My M4 shipped as a bare drive, so I got the Silverstone 2.5" adapter. Rosewill makes a plastic one that is half the price and does the same thing, but these days I opt for metal.

As suggested velcro works well if you need to move your desktop around (if you ever need to).
Otherwise mines (2) are just hanging in mid air.

If you're OCD you'll want an adapter. I bought a new case and it came with drive trays with screw holes for 2.5" drives. Was nice. Rosewill Blackhawk. I really like the case.
