Need Speakers

Budget: Less than $200
Purpose: Music, movies, gaming (when I'm tired and not wanting to use headphones so I'm happy with 2.1 if it means I'll get higher quality for music/movies)

I've done a bit of researching and I like the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 however CNET says the sub is not the best for the money or whatever. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Look at Logitech and Cambridge SoundWorks speakers. I have a 3+ year old set of CSW speakers that still kick ass. I picked up a sub $50 set of Logitech (X-230 2.1 system) and it surprised the hell out of me. It's damned close to the same level as my $150 (at the time) set from CSW.

All the 2.1 speakers listed on Logitech's page are under your budget cap. CSW doesn't carry the specific set that I have, but this seems to come pretty close to it.

You want the Logitech z-2300's. They are the best 2.1 speakers on the market today, by far. Check out this CNET Review. They gave them a 9.0 and editor's choice. They're also THX certified and you can get them on Amazon for $109 + ship. Go go go!
