Need source for replacement screen - Pavilion Touchsmart 14-b109wm

I have been searching for part number: B140XTT01.0
It is a touch screen, so I believe this is an assembled package of LCD + digitizer (if I am wrong, please correct me).

My google searches have turned up two, maybe three legitimate US sources that are priced reasonably, but they are out of stock. There are plenty of sources wanting $300+, which is about the price paid for the notebook (i.e., I don't want to pay that much).
Other sources I have found all appear to be based in China.

Can anybody offer guidance on where I might find the part I need? Preferably in the US, but if not, another country will do as long as I do not have to pay an exorbitantly high price and it is a trusted vendor.

Second on laptopscreens. Yes, the site looks like crap, but they are legit.

Wow...that's cheap enough. Thank you very much for this site!

Would this be the complete package with digitizer, or is it a screen only? I am not sure if these are normally sold as complete assemblies, but the price is so reasonable that it would not surprise me if the digitizer were sold separately.

It appears that, in order to get the complete assembly of LCD + Digitizer, I will have to order from a Chinese supplier.

I called the company provided in the above link, and it was explained to me that these assemblies are not freely available to US re-sellers because there is an exclusive agreement in place between the manufacturers of them and the US computer manufacturers who ultimately sell them to the consumer. It could literally take months before this changes and US component re-sellers have them on-hand.

So, this leads to me another question: Is there a substitute out there that may work, and is it also available here in the US?

is the broken part the digitizer or the lcd or both?

ive seen repair videos of convertible laptops and the digitizer is seemingly easy enough to remove and reuse as long as you dont damage the wire ribbon connecting it.
