I need some valentine idea for me and my girlfriend.
Not really in the "gift" area but in the "things to do" area. Nothing to expensive either
Oh and I know everyone is going to say "have sex" so dont bother. 😉

You and me both bud.

For those of you supporting valentines day...how does it feel to support a "holiday" put on and made up by a corperation that cares not for love or affection, but for money, and money alone? I do not need a special day to express my love for someone. It will be expressed through the actions that I take and the words that I say every single day I am with that someone. Love is not a one day a year event, it is a ever-lasting, ever-giving present that knows no bounds and cannot be defined by any sort of "holiday."

im not. I never did agree with v-day. Nor do i agree with many corporate holidays, such as mothers day or fathers day, or other sad excuses people have to say "i did something for someone that is special to me." No, I do not need a holiday for that. Random acts of kindness are far better than doing something on a prescribed day set by a heartless corperation in order to make money.

I feel the same way about Christmas, I'm generous all year round with my friends and loved ones. I don't think I need to go out an break myself just because of one day, and I'm sure Christ never meant for it to be that way either...

exactly. Kids see the presents, and only recently was i looking forward to seeing my family more than anything else. Presents are just material things that can be replaced easily...family cannot.

Too true, the only Holiday that I do anything with is Halloween, just because I can get dressed up and mess around with people at work..

show her your penis. If she likes it, you both win. If she doesnt, you lost. Just like every present for a woman.

Another Winner!!!! See, and you thought all we were doing was talking about other things when in fact we're trying to help🙂

But I like christmas! It makes me feel good. Are you going to take that away from me because you don't like it? This might have spawn from corporations trying to make money but doesn't that 1 day makes you feel a bit better about yourself and others? Makes you feel a bit better about human kind and forget the fact that we live in not such a nice world?

Just think how much better you would feel if you could take that 1 day and times it by 365....
