I've done the disney world, the beaches, but havent tried the cruises or the islands. However, I would go to one of the islands (St Croix or Bahamas) but it would cost too much for two ppl. So, I've seen pics of Maine and San Francisco and I've been meaning to do some research to see if it's worth going. My gf just got back from Las Vegas so that rules us takig a trip down there. I'd rather have a nice view of a lake where we can go jet skiing or something. I prefer something secluded away from the crowds (beaches). I'm thinking Myrtle Beach as I've heard it doesnt get that packed, but then again I want to go in June or July.
I know there are hidden gems up north in places such as Maine and Vermont but is that for the older crowd? Are we better off going to San Francisco? We just want to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves as I need to take some time off and she would like to take time off before she starts her job (just graduated).
