maybe im just missing something, could someone just link me to the appropriate driver or drivers? i am starting to get very frustrated...

Unless the wireless NIC is not the Intel card listed on the service page, you've already been linked to what should be the correct driver.

I'ts likely that you have a configuration issue. Go into the driver configuration (you can probably click on the icon in the notification area) and check for issues there.

Heller, don't get frustrated or you've already lost. Calmly and analytically think the problem through. It's a bitch and a half to remotely diagnose computer problems, so you'd do better to go back through the driver installation process yourself, making sure you do every step correctly.

The issue is almost certainly driver related since the wifi was working fine before your format and reinstall.

1. Check the card to see if it's enabled and working properly in the devise manager.
2. If not, uninstall the card/driver.
3. Download the correct driver, making sure it's for the proper OS and card.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Reinstall the driver.
6. Make sure the card in enabled.

And make sure you aren't trying to use both the Windows manager and the Intel utility to manage your wireless (<-done it a few times)

still no luck, i have installl every driver for networks and communications, tyo no avail. im realllyu stumped, she leaves tomarrow morning very early 0530am and it looks like im going to be up all night till i figure out this damn issue. next time if someone ask me if i know anything about computers im going to say no!

just removed alll drivers and reinstalled every last one, even the optional ones, it still says driver not installed but theres no question mark next to the networking list in device manager, im really stumped...

Fn+F2 is wireless on/off in old dels you might try that and sometimes they have a dell wireless manager you have to use instead of windows, check the icons in the lower right for a dell wireless manager and set up the wireless in that.

1.Brodcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller
2.dell wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-pci card.

when i install the intel wireless setup after the install it says driver not installed...

Not to be a jerk, but had you provided this info much earlier, you would have received much more pertinent responses.

Rule # 1 for driver installation: make sure you know what hardware you have.
