The best part about it, though, is all of the good times you'll have narrating your own life in that same voice. "WHEN you're TRYING to make RISOTTO, you HAVE to keep adding CHICKEN STOCK."

It's amusing because I could picture Michael doing that.

"The difference between good and not so good Risotto is all in the technique. Cook it for too long and you're going to get buuurned."

Burn Notice should be good, but I wonder what will happen now.

Lost
House

Can't recommend those two enough.

If she doesn't mind sci-fi, watch Firefly and then Serenity. Godly show, though I often here people complain the pilot is boring.

lost, house, greys anatomy, nip/tuck, any old comedy show (fresh prince, home improvement)...

Good suggestions except Grey's Anatomy. Haven't you ever seen South Park? It'll turn you into a boring couple

Seriously though, it's not a very good show. House is way better as a medical drama.

The Shield, Chuck, Heroes, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Fringe, Criminal Minds, CSI, Sons of Anarchy, South Park, Friday Night Lights

I'm glad Top Gear is back on, it's better than ever, I like how because there's an apparent budget cut, the crew rely more on their own humor and home made feel to provide the entertainment, while the quality in cars still stays the same.

Another show coming up in two weeks is Entourage. I am dying for it, it looks awesome. Anyone seen any trailers for it?

Do you read, ever? If you're out of TV shows to watch, I could name some great books for ya.

The Unit

So much win.

I guess when those a-holes didn't pick it up for a 5th, I didn't think much of it. A few days ago I was thinking how awesome it was come Sunday night for a new episode, but then I realized it was no more! 🙁

you should watch Mad Men and catch up in time for the new season in August.

There's a new season of Mad Men? :Q

That was an awesome show, excellent stuff.

If you can find it, Breaking Bad. Awesome show.

Also, if you can convince your GF to watch it, (and assuming you haven't already watched it yourself) Battlestar Galactica.

Californication - two seasons, light romance/sex/comedy/drama, 24 episodes in total; David Duchovny plays an awesomely stubborn and tremendously annoying dude that actually manages to be immensely likable while not being a retard (like these characters usually tend to be). Plus lots of tits, group sex and projectile vomiting.

Lost - I recommend you start watching this later this year because by the time you finish Season Five, you will be furious/angry/confuzzled and desperate for Season Six to start in Jan 2010.

Weeds was nice the first three seasons, I kinda liked Season Four and I watched the first episode of Season Five, I don't feel 'it' any more. I went from 'awesome show' to 'I guess I will watch it if I have lots of time and nothing else to do'.

I'm currently doing House Season Three and The Office Season Two. House seemed to be losing its touch but I'm at the point where Detective Tritter is making life miserable for House and Wilson; has potential.

we jsut started watching the Unit. we're happy with it.

Mad Men starts up season 3 in two months, I think. Probably the next time we'll be watching TV.

catch Flight of the Conchords if you haven't. Totally rad.

and The Wire, of course.

really, really need to watch those seasons if you haven't.
