Hey all, it's been a long time since I've been around Anandtech. I'm hoping to get some good advice about a cheap gaming system I'm about to make. This machine only needs to be able to run games - it doesn't need to run them well at all. I'm making this so that friends and/or relatives can play on it when they come over to my place while I'm on my main computer.

My question:

I have an Athlon XP 2100+ Tbred sitting around collecting dust after I upgraded to an Athlon 64 3400+ a few months back. I'm looking for a budget motherboard (preferrably with onboard 64MB video) to go with this CPU, as well as some budget memory and power supply. Any recommendations?

Probably pretty much what's available at this point will drive your choice. Even a former 'top of the line' socket A m/b may be a 'bargain' at this point. I recall ASUS made a VM version of their nForce2 m/b, which had integrated video.
