I just got a Palo Alto PA-600 and it came with ZERO fans. I have heard that panaflo fans are good but I have no idea where to get them. I have also heard the brand Pabst is really quiet and good for cooling.

Where can I get these fans with the appropriate plugs (the ones that fit on motherboards). I think they are called 3-pin, am I right?

Do they sell 90mm (92mm? is there really a difference or just a website typo) with the plugs that you can directly plug into the motherboard?

Thanks for the help

Enermax makes fans that you can regulate voltage on. They are supposed to be really good and you yourself get to decide whether cooling or quietness is important. I know that I probably will have to clock down this summer or get more cooling going (hard, case crammed)

I use these fans for my case now and really like the results. They have them in blue now too so you dont have to settle for the pinkish color that I had to get. But they are great fans. I have 3 92mm and 1 80mm fan and my case is really quiet. I have them all on low right now.

I am using both Papst and Enermax fans in my quest for the quiet computer. I have Alpha 8045 with Papst 80mm NGM fan on my Athlon 1.4GHZ and Enermax 92mm case fan set to minimum speed blowing out next to the CPU. With this setup my CPU temp is 46C and case 27C. And my Enlight 7237 is filled with noise reduction materials that increase heat slightly. Right now the noise is about the same as in a new small-sized fridge. You can hear if you concentrate but it doesn't bother you.

Both the Papst and the Enermax are pretty quiet but I think am going to try replace both with Papst 80mm NGL that are rated for 12dB and 19.4CFM. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Papst fans, I think they are worth the premium.

After that next part is replacing the PSU with one from QuietPC and change the MSI G3Ti200 fan to something more appropriate. After that I think I am done and it's completely quiet.
