Here's the short version of the story so I don't go into a long drawn out dialogue.

I need to connect an s-video out device (onkyo receiver) to my s-video input TV. I have seen cheap s-video cables and expensive ones. I ran across the following device that allows cat5 to s-video connections.
WIll I need just two of them?
If so I would hook one up to the back of the onkyo, plug my cat5 in it. Then run it my desired length (35 - 40 ft) and hook another one into that end of the cat5 and then my TV. DOes this sound correct?

With over 2600 posts you would think a person could put together a coherent sentence.

Does anyone with any actual knowledge of video signals know if this would be a worthwhile option?

Looks fine to me, but don't get liquored and accidentally plug it into your computer. That sounds like it would be bad.

Yeah I thought about that. But I have also heard of complaints with cheaper cables.

Well thanks for the input everyone.
