I just finished reading the 3rd book of the Song of ice and fire series. Those books are incredible, I can't wait for the 4th one to be published. In the meanwhile does anyone have any suggestions on something similar to George R R Martins novels?

I had the 4th book on order from Amazon since LAST spring.
The latest publish date is now this month. Yeah, sure.

I'll recommend, in the same genre, the Seer King trilogy.

go left to right, top to bottom on the page. as your eyes see each group of letters, have your brain interpret them as words and string together the meanings. when you get to the bottom of one page, move on to the next. keep doing this.

Farseer Trilogy and Tawny Man by Robin Hobb. After reading Martin and Hobb, every other fantasy books just seems so childish, so i've stopped reading them.

The three interconnected series by Robin Hobb are a good read. I enjoyed the Breach in the Watershed series by Douglas Niles (his other one left a horrible impression, Circle at Center or something like that). Tad Williams' Memory, Sorry and Thorn series is one of my favorites and I still read them every once and again. There are more but I can't remember most of them off the top of my head.
