i just have some regular crucial 256 mb pc2700 ram 2.5 cl..and ive been messing with sisoft sandra and the memory benchmark..also im running an amd 2000+. First off, i seem to get higher benchmarks when i make the ram pc2100 instead of 2700, i assume this is because it matches fsb and therefore has more bandwidth according to sandra atleast, so the first question, should i leave it at pc2100? Secondly..i have an epox mobo with different memory settings, normal, fast, fastest, and turbo..my computer is stable when set to turbo, pc2100. It seems turbo lowers it to cl2 and lowers the timings..should i leave it at turbo for best bandwidth and performance? i would assume yes, since it runs ok on turbo pc2100 (it crashes on turbo, pc2700 by the way) so the main 2 questions, should i run it at pc2100 to match fsb and should i leave it at turbo?

thanks

Without going into long technical reasons why, the answer is yes to both your questions, you'll get the best results that way.
