I need the forum header over at Constantly Christmas updated to read "Constantly Christmas", rather than the "your forum" that it currently reflects. I'm willing to pay a few dollars for this; I'm not sure how much time this would entail, nor what a reasonable price for this would be, so several opinions on that would also be appreciated.

If anyone is seriously interested in helping me with this, I have the PSD available, but I cannot make it publicly available.

If it were me, I'd look at picking up some cheap software to do this stuff myself since you will want to be making all sorts of stuff for your website. Photoshop is too expensive, especially if you actually pay for it. You could try the demo of Real Draw Pro, www.mediachance.com , to see if you like it. It is much cheaper than Photoshop, easy to use, and is very well suited for cranking out web graphics.

Well... I completely suck at anything related to art or creativity.

I really couldn't care less about creating more graphics right now... I just need this done ASAP.

There are now three people working on this... I'll choose the first one that I really like, and that will be the one I use.

I'm leaving case sensitivity up to each person (whichever they think looks better), and I'll choose which I think looks better. Use your own judgment for what you think looks great.

If you want to participate, email me at the address in my profile.

For those working on it, be careful with the shading, that's the only hard part. I have layer 25 available already edited if that's needed (uses 72 font on top, 48 on bottom).

If anyone has specific questions about using it or working on it, post them here and I might be able to answer. I had trouble with the shading and don't have too much time to play around with it and so I wouldn't mind helping others with this if they need it.

Edit: I did the shading for the bottom part properly earlier, if you need any help with that I'd be glad to help out. One basic idea is that when you create the gradients, do the following:

1. Copy the text it will be for
2. Crop it out to the proper size (compare to the old layer for height, not width because that is a different text and so width is different)
3. Create a new layer
4. Using the layer with text, use the magic wand tool and select a letter. Then, switch to the new layer, the letter will still be selected when you do this, and create the gradient. This way, when you're done, you can delete/hide the layer with the original text and all you have is the gradient. :D

Clarification on step 2: Now, for those not sure how to get the height for the old layer, all you do is select layer X in the layers menu, select the area in the image with the rectangular marquee, and press ctrl+c. Press file, new, ok, and paste it - then go to the image menu and view size. You can now see the height it should be. You can shorten this a little, but I won't get into too many things yet to confuse others.

This should help anyone new to this that wants to give it a shot.

Or, for even more flexibility and consistency in the gradient from letter to letter, create a single gradient as tall and wide as you're likely to use it, then use the text as a clipping mask. That way, you can leave your type layer intact and it'll automagically fill the new letter areas without anything more than the type update.
