Need some opinions on GF3 performance with Jedi Knight II

By the way, I run 36fps with 4x anti-aliasing and 4x ansiotropic filtering. With a few tweaks, I imagine it could bump 40. So it's not really "nuts" to run FSAA with something other than a Geforce 4 ti. While I wouldn't set it here for multiplayer, that's good enough to play single player in my book. (okay, OTHER than the swamp level. lol)
 
i've the same freaking problem....i think it is a problem with the game itself. their engine suxs

There's nothing wrong with the engine at all; the Quake3 engine is very fast and looks good at the same time. In fact the game plays very well on my Ti4600 at 1600 x 1200 x 32 with full details and anisotropic filtering enabled.

It's only the swamp levels that really slow down but that's because they have a lot of visual effects that require extreme fillrate and memory bandwidth to render.
