Need some OC advice

I have a 1800XP+ Thouroughbred. I have it at 1.7 volts (up from 1.6) and am running it at 160X12.5=2000 Mhz. (Stock is 133X11.5)

Is this accetable? I ran Prime 95 for about 45 minutes with no problems and it hits 38.5C according to hardware doctor from ABIT. Is this torture testing good enough?

go for longer, about 5-6hrs or so of prime95 and 3dmark2001 loops
if it doenst crash/restart/wahtever, its pretty damn stable

is that a tbred a or b?

It says something like JIUHB and it is 02/52 (Week 52 of 2002).

THe great thing is that all this comp is for is Edonkey and Movie Encoding with DVD2ONE

Abit AT7. Not AT& Max jsut an AT7. I am pretty happy with 2ghz. I only have PC2100 memory.

well then yah i think 12.5x is the max mult you can get
and id ont think pc2100 will go much past 160

although you rpobably should go for 166 as thats when the 1/5 pci divider will kick in
right now you are stressing your pci devices quite a bit

I have the Ratio at 5:2:1. I think I am underclocking a bit. Since I will never game on this machine, in fact no mouse or keyboard connected to it, I think it's ok to be underclocked. I only connect remote desktop connection. That's to start encoding and stop encoding.
