I don?t have radio in my Mustang (antenna delete) so I hardly ever get a chance to listen to it. I do have a CD player though, what are some catchy new(ish) songs. No rap, pop, or country; just Rock.

Some songs I?ve been hearing on the radio that I like are Send the pain below, The red, Caught in the rain, and Headstrong.

Concrete Blonde - Group Therapy
Carrie Akre - Invitation

A few overlooked older CDs:
Chris Cornell - Euphoria Morning
Carrie Akre - Home
PJ Harvey - To Bring You My Love <<-- it seriously rocks on tracks like "C'mon Billy"
Concrete Blonde - Mexican Moon, Free, Bloodletting

Wow.... someone but me likes OAR and Dispatch.... Fantastic choice

Also supplement with some Martin Sexton, Mason Jennings, and Jeff Buckley and you'll be set.... you could chill for hours ;-)

Dude, Interpol is freakin' awesome. I hope to see them this year.

yeah, turn on the bright lights is my pick for album of the year for 2002.. unfortunately though, they aren't too hot live. not -BAD-, but they play everything exactly like it is on the album.

it sounds like you're listening to the album, and throw in maybe 1 bside to mix things up, and thats your show.

Get some stuff by ATB. It just tears your head off (at least mine). Evaluate some like Tears, Castles in the sky, Don't stop and others. I don't know much about music but this sounds very cool.

for people who like O.A.R., just out of curiosity, when did you first hear about them? People in Ohio have liked them for a real long time.

Bands I've been digging lately :

Tegan and Sara
Grandaddy
My Morning Jacket
Broadcast
The Rapture
The New Pornographers
Polyphonic Spree
The Blue Aeroplanes
Yo La Tengo
The Dears

Give one of those a try, and you should be good to go.
