Since I made the thread, I get to pick two. 😀

1. L'Amour Toujours (I'll Fly With You) - Gigi D'Agostino
2. Come Undone - Duran Duran

Yes, I realize this topic has probably been posted to death. Bite me. 🙂

Hmm, I don't know if I like any song more than Matthew Good Band - Change of Season. Tough to say though, I have so many 'favorite songs.' 🙂

aphex twin and robert miles duet (don't know what the song's name is called)

also
aphex twin - pulse width

ack! you want me to choose just one favorite song?!?!?!

*thinks*

*thinks some more*

*furrows brow*

*strokes chin*

Okay, I think it would be:

Metallica - Fade to Black

I have a bunch of favorite songs, but right now I am listening a lot to Linkin Park- In the end. I usually listen to Sara Mclachlin though (love her "sweet surrender" my all time favorite).

It's changed as I've grown.

When I was in school it was Judas Priest - You got another thing coming.
When I was getting divorced it was Phil Collins - I don't care anymore.
Now, believe it or not, it's the Beach Boys - Wipe out...my 2-year-old stands in the middle of the room and shakes his booty when he hears that song. 😀

My favorite lyrics in a song:

The Supermen
David Bowie 1971
  • When all the world was very young
    And mountain magic heavy hung
The supermen would walk in file
    Guardians of a loveless isle
And gloomy browed with superfear their tragic endless lives
    Could heave nor sigh
In solemn, perverse serenity, wondrous beings chained to life

Strange games they would play then
No death for the perfect men
Life rolls into one for them
    So softly a supergod cries

Where all were minds in uni-thought
    Power weird by mystics taught
No pain, no joy, no power too great
Colossal strength to grasp a fate
Where sad-eyed mermen tossed in slumbers
Nightmare dreams no mortal mind could hold
A man would tear his brother's flesh, a chance to die
    To turn to mold.

    Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
    Strange, mad celebration
    So softly a supergod cries

    Far out in the red-sky
Far out from the sad eyes
    Strange, mad celebration
    So softly a supergod dies
Favorite song is also by Bowie:
Moonage Daydream 1972
Gives me goosebumps every time!
