Need some illustrator help to try to save my kitten

I'm sorry for the pain you had to experience and had to die young.


I found a kitten a few months back, she's been growing up with me as I've been unable to find her a home and I can't stand the thought of putting her in a shelter.

Fast forward to today, the kitten's been vomiting all food and water for 2 days. I brought her to the vet and they put her on an IV, they say she has an intestinal blockage. She's scheduled for surgery tomorrow, I can't afford it but I'll find a way- I just can't stand suffering animals. I'm going to propose to redo the vet's website as part of payment as it looks circa 1999.

I'm going to work all night on this probably so I can have something to show them tomorrow. I need their logo illustrated out so I can export it to photoshop. I suck at illustrator, can someone give me a hand?

Mine is "occupied with all things shiny" at this time a well and I haven't had a chance to install any apps on this laptop or I'd help out.
 
that cat is very cute and pretty! you won't regret it. cats live very long and are great buddies (keep them indoors!).
 
my apologies, as I do not mean to make fun of the cat in any way: I've never seen a sad cat before, and that looks like a sad cat.
 
Argh, I don't have illustrator on this computer. I'm sure someone will come along, the logo will be really easy to do.

EDIT: If you have illustrator it shouldn't be too difficult to do it yourself. Throw the image on a base layer, then make a new layer on top and on it use the pen tool to trace over the logo and make nice vector shapes.
 
I have the artistic talent of a 3yr old. I'd help you otherwise. You do have my thoughts, and I hope your pretty kitty makes out ok :^)

This poster is correct. I just lost my best buddy of 18 years on June 29th. Keep them indoors and take good care of them and they will be one of the best companions you'll ever have.
 
What about the other cats on death row? You save one and let all the others die of horrible deaths. How do you live with yourself w/o guilt?

Well my thanks to rivan for the help. I decided on a joomla cms so they could edit it themselves, it also has some powerful customer management stuff they may be interested in. I hope they are interested in trading services.

Here's the mock up I sent.

Here's their current site.

They're supposed to call me shortly to let me know if she's getting surgery, the last time we spoke it seemed pretty definite.
