Does anyone know of a free program that will take a folder of pictures and generate thumbnails and code to display a page.

For example, if I had a dozen pictures in a folder, it would take those pictures, make thumbnails of each and display them as links in a 3x4 or 4x3 matrix.

I found a shareware version that does this, but wondering if any of you knew of a better one.

Thank you.

It's called Adobe Photoshop. :)

If this is anything less than 50 pictures, just do it yourself.

If it's 1000 pictures, keep looking.

That's pretty much it. I know how to do HTML, but thumbnailing pics and organizing them into templates takes forever.

Being a few thousand miles away from home, I wanted to keep a photo journal for friends and family.

It has just gotten to be too much of a hassle and I don't want a company's logo on my pages(one I got from download.com)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll have to check adobe - is that feature available on version 6?

Take a look at ThumbsPlus. I've never used it for what you want but I do use it for my regular photo catalog. It has an HTML wizard that will make pages for you and do what you want.
