Hey guys,
I came here a while ago about a problem I've had using my plex 16/10 cdrw drive to copy cd's at 16x. The fastest I've done it at is 8x [wont let me do 12x for some reason]. Anyways, What i want to try is to add a cd-rom drive to see if that will fix things up. But i have[read, will have] 2 hds, and 2 cd-rom drices [one cdrw, one dvd] Is there any way to add a fifth ide device to this system? My mobo [asus a7m266] doesnt support ide raiding. I was wondering if i bought an IDE controller card, would that allow me to add extra ide devices?
