1) How do I get rid of using the pagefile.sys in Win2k? I have 512 MB of RAM and I don't want to use my Hard Drive.

2) My speakers are popping. It's not the soundcard, I think it might be power surges from my fan. Any ideas? What else could it be?

Thanks,
Tom

Do the speakers pop constantly or when certain apps are running? Make sure they are plugged in to the right conectors. Its pretty easy to plug them in wrong if you're feeling around instead of looking.

You must have a pagefile in Win2K for it to work properly. But you shouldn't have to worry about it. With 512MB of RAM, Win2K will rarely access your pagefile. Win2K's memory management is much better than their older product's.
