for once I agree with good o nate. how old are you? this is obviously a simply reaction from a girl so the best and only solution is to forget about it and get on with your life. you guys only went out for 2 months, girls come and go, i hope you realize this, it'll be hard ot find the actual one, but you must not stop and think about why she is breaking up with you. let it go. besides havent you learned yet that they are all evil!

I agree to a point. The thing is, you have to learn how they think, they are just like we are, in, that they want to see what they can get away with. You just cant let them walk on you, or they will be evil. And every girl is different, its not like they will all do this to you.

Well we have talked today for a long time, and I still dont like it but tommarow i hope to meet with her in person. Im going in as a friend and I have told her that, i dont want to date her at the moment and she knows it. I will not be sitting st home crying over this one, but I do want to become friends if anything I still like her a lot but as of now I want her and all you to know we are just friends. I had to agree with SOME of the things that DannyLove Said and everything Azraele said. It's very tacky to do it over email. I've always felt if someone drops a bomb like that over email it's becuase they are hiding behind something. OR afraid that you will see something in them when they tell you. It's a two month relationship granted it's not long but if it was intimate it can take a bit to get over it. But seriously dude. Do yourself a favor get over it and deal with it. Don't be a jackass about it though, it's a matter of just being a responsible adult.

and in your future relationship be who you are from start to finish, guys (and I am guilty of this as much as some othere people.) are really sweet and really nice to these girls and try and get on their good side etc.. and they sometimes try to hard. and either the girls fall for it but when they get to know you, they are either turned off because after a while they realize that you are not what you seemed to be. Or they hate the sticky sweet part of it. (because that's what it is. smothering.) and they just don't want anything to do with it. Don't pretend don't act. just be you. it'll save yourself a lot of heartache.

My wife and I met over IRC. and we soon realized that this is going to be harder than we thought, becuase even know we knew each other we didn't really. and everyday is a hard day because the other person isn't whom you thought that they were. and you have to re-learn everything and you learn things about yourself that you didn't know.

I didn't realize that I Was pretending to be something I wasn't until I got married and I went.. 'ohh.. holy Sh*T'

It's a tough road man, dating is never easy. Just take it one step at a time.
