Anyone have this game? For those of you who do, please help me, I have about a dozen water pumps and none of them work, they all have power, but they aren't pumping water, why is this happening? how come my city doesn't have any water but I do have the pumps, but they aren't pumping... why!?!?!?!?

well, if they dont touch water, they dont pump. And are you sure you have pipes between your city and the pumps?

nope, have to touch water. I suggest putting a 1x1 piece of water in various areas of the city, and then put pumps all the way around, then put road around all that. I prefer cities that are nice and square =].

The pump must be RIGHT NEXT TO some water (ie 0 sqaure in between the Pump-water)

The most easiest way to make it is to create 1x1 of surface water and put 8 pumps around it. Screenshot

heh. I had the same problem. But I fixed it.. I bulldozed all those &@&^$@#^$% pumps, and built water tower fields... ;)

May not have been the brightest solution, but hey, it works.. :)

My only problem with the game is there is no more room on the map for my city to grow, and I've got my spaceport already and their doesn't seem to be anything else coming to me up the road..

Guess I will have to start a new city now...

As you can see from my screenshot above.

All my pumps are at ONE place of my city. Pumps die after 75? or 110? years or sth and it does not auto replace. And I am sick of looking for each of them to replace so I actually destroyed all my existing pumps are actually build an area FULL of pumps for easy management. I did the same for power plants, and waste managements.

Is it near fresh water or salt water? Only desalinization plants can work next to salt water.

yea, Windogg. I was thinking the same thing. If it is powered, then make sure they sit within 2 squares of fres water (surface water). If They are next top salt water, use de-salinazation plants or pump it TO a desalinazation plant(s). Hope this helps.
