Need some help with setting up USB on a MSI K7T266-*

For all those who know what i'm talking about I was wondering if the onboard USB should be working without the USB extension that the mobo came with. I connected my 'camera' to the onboard USB but nothing happeneds.... i tried the other connector (onboard) but it just seems like nothing happened, no driver windows come up or anything. According to the mobo manual everything is hooked up right...

If you have this MSI mobo could you link me a pic of how your USB is hooked up?
Thanks

Nope you don't have to add the USB bracket. You could check your bios to make sure it's enabled. Or have you tried using the USB bracket?

I couldn't get my MSI K7T266 to run USB either.

I went out and bought a USB Pci card for $30 and it solved my problems.

🙂
