I've been working on building a home server to run CentOS, and even though it is my first time playing with any sort of linux (minus a brief use of PClinuxOS live cd awhile back) I feel confident I have enough basic knowledge and documentation to get me through...
...minus one thing, I can't partition my server because I'm trying to go with 1 huge partition (minus the swap and /boot). I'm doing a RAID 5 with 4 x 1.5TB hdd's which will equal about 4.5TB usable space.
My question is how do I get give my BIOS the middle finger and boot into EFI so that it will read a GPT? I was going back and forth between Intel's website and a Tianocore.org site researching and trying to figure out how to get into the EFI Shell (I have found plenty of documentation on what to do once in there, just not how to get started).
As always, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
