is there anyway to record streaming music from winamp? with my old sblive value you could always record (What U hear) but on my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz I dont see such an option

It's pretty easy.

In the Santa Cruz Control Panel (can be found in the Windows Control Panel) on the Main tab, under Record Settings, Record Source, set Stereo Mix. Then anything that is not disabled in the Mixer Tab will be recorded. Under the mixer tab, make sure the Wave and Synthesizer symbols are enabled. Disable any you don't want to be recorded from, like the CD and microphone.

BTW, I really like the sound quality on the Santa Cruz.
One more scientific online report, which isn't just some subjective opion, actually tested frequency response (compared to original), THD, and other sound/noise ratios. The SC fared much better on this rating list with very good quality which is much better than the SB Live, which gets only an average rating for it's total sound quality. My previous soundcard, the DiamondMM S100 also has better sound than SB Live, but for some reason the CD connector was picking up noise, so I bought a SC instead of a SB. The dual MP3 jacks in are cool, so I can use two CD/DVD players at the same time. Of course it also supports modems, S/PDIF, etc.
