Hello all,

I have an interview coming up on a job and a friend who currently holds the position gave me some questions that I might be asked. Well, below are two questions that I have nothing for. I was hoping someone here might be able to give me some insight into the basic meaning of the terms used. I am not looking for answers to these questions but instead a better understanding into what they are actually asking. Any links that you think might be helpful will be appreciated.

1) Tell me your philosophy regarding recreation steps/defect tracking?

2) Tell me about your experience with automation software. Is it always appropriate/value added

Thanks..zey

Well do you know anything about different software testing methodologies? If not, I'd start your research there. I've never frequented it, but check out http://www.qaforums.com/ . Maybe they'll have some good pointers.

Thanks, I will give that site a once over when I get home tonight. Any testing sites that you know of?
