I have 2 systems. One is a Pentium 3 600 @ 800... 256mb ram. a Soyo 7vca mobo (believe thats it) Geforce 2 PRO 32mb. 5400RPM ATA-66 HD. ETC. decent cooling. WIN ME

My main machine is a AMD 1.4ghz. 512mb ram. 30gb ATA-66 7200RPM HD. Geforce 2 64mb. WIN 2000. 3com NIC. Sound blaster live value. good cooling. EPOX 8k7a MOBO
400watt power supply

Ok heres my question

For some reason i decided to run 3dmark 2001 over night to see if my systems where STABLE. well. the pentium 3 600 @ 800 ran over night fine. But for some reason my main machine (1.4ghz amd) crashed. cant figure out what it is. My cpu temp is fine. and also UT crashes on me ONCE in a while. still no idea why =\........

Anyone have any idea why this might be? if u need to know something just asked (probably forgot a spec on my copmuter or something)....

Thanks

I'm really iffy on 3dmark.. it does have a tendency to crash a lot, or give weird fluxuating scores for good machines, I would say have you installed the latest via4in1 for that amd box? i think that board use the via 686b southbridge.. and update your detonator, doesnt have to be latest, just a good stable version... again i wouldnt hold too much stock in 3dmark, try playing some of ur fav games, or run the infamous Prime95, hehe, good luck and have phun....
