Okay, this is gonna be long, but please read it and give me the best advice you can think of...

I've been harrassed by my school, I believe. It regards school sporting events, and cheering....

First incident: Basketball game, yelled "You missed!" after a opposing players free throw, administrator across the gym swears she heard "You Bitch!", I get kicked out, the student body stands behind me, shows the administrators video proof of the "You Missed!", but the adminstrators stand behind their decision. The following Tuesday, my mom is called into the school and we had a meeting with my principal... The principal is a complete jackass, but I went along with it for the sake of not causing bad vibes between me and the faculty.

Second incident: Soccer game Tuesday Night, didn't yell a thing, but my mom gets a call the next day at work from my Athletic Director stating that I was disruptive at the game the previous night. Once again, the whole crowd sitting around for me says its bullshit, that I'm being unfairly singled out and falsely accused. My principal talked to me again, stating that was my 2nd strike out of 3, similar to baseball. He said 3rd strike = plan B, plan B meaning I'm banned from all high school sporting events until I graduate (I'm a junior)...

Third Incident: Tonight at the soccer game, about 2 hours ago. People around me are swearing, and ref stops the game and yells at them. Me and 2 of my friends (very good kids, high 3.8 gpas and spotless records) made a German Flag out of a bed sheet using spray paint for one of our good buddies, a exchange student from Munic, Germany. The game ends in a tie, and before overtime starts, the 3 game officials come over, and tell me and my 2 friends holding the flag that we've been kicked out for profanity. ONCE AGAIN, about 30 people behind me say thats BS, and I'm getting the screwjob. That = 3rd strike...

Now tomorrow morning, a bunch of people including myself and the 2 other friends kicked out are going to walk into the principals office, demand a meeting, and let them know we're getting screwed.

Any ideas that we could use on them, such as harrassment for singling out a student, or something like that???

Also, would it be good to tape record the meeting for future referance???

Please reply seriously, this is a big thing, I could miss out on almost everything my senior year.

Hire an attorney and threaten the school district with a lawsuit. Anything less and you are going to lose.

aren't they suppose to show proof B4 pointing a finger at you? If all things fail, maybe your local tv or radio station can help you. If they want to make a big deal out of it, help them! just make sure a lot of people backs up your story.

GOOD LUCK , man!:frown:

I have no respect for highschool admins and sports directors. I played soccer all through highschool as did my sister. However, I quit when the soccer coach (girls), who was backed up by the athletic director, told my sister she needed to go on a slim fast diet or she would not make the team. Sure enough I missed out on college scholarships (also knee/ankle damage helped), but then again soccer probably would not have brought me far in life.

Can you think of any reason why they might be 'framing' you?
You sleeping with the coach's daughter? :D

Typical of high school administration.. not the teachers, I have respect for them. Principals and the like tend to care more about the punishing and discipline of students more than their education. Good luck and talk to some news people or an attorney. Both would scare your district into leaving you alone for the year.

Where I live, our school had a big racism problem. I lived in a suburb of Dallas, TX and it was full of upper middle class white kids and rednecks. These are *typically* two groups that don't react too well to diversity. Apparantly, they didn't mix well with black kids to the point where our school had chalked up enough racism complaints to warrant an article in the Dallas Morning News, one of the largest newspapers in the country, and the local news. Seeing the negative publicity, and an issue taken w/ the police where some redneck students in their truck pointed a loaded gun at a black student in the parking lot while shouting out racist comments, followed by administration trying to cover the incident up w/o punishing the kids and encouraging the victim not to tell anyone, EVEN HIS PARENTS, prompted an FBI investigation on the school and how it was run.

Ever since, the district has been cracking down on issues like this. Sometimes, to get things fixed, you need to bruise some egos. This is important...it's your last year at high school and it shouldn't be ruined by some tool on a power trip.

I recommend not doing that until you get your parents and/or an attorney involved.

definitely get a lawyer/police/local news (any combination of those 3 will work) involved. that will definitely make the school listen.

i suggest you have the parents book his schedule solid and wear the faculty down. it's fairly easy to cave an admin, you just have to get them in for the long haul.

that's what i did when the faculty at my school started treating me unfairly for some of my views... (specifically gun rights) they wanted to take disciplinary action, had no grounds to stand on, so we booked his schedule solid with meeting after meeting. he cant get anything done, and will eventually cave.

I don't really want to sue our district, just get this stuff done with... I'm kinda pissed off about it, and if they try to ban me, than I'm going to get uberpissed...
