Need some help/info on HD and partitions

I just found a nice 160gig WD that is working awesome it is partioned kinda weird though 20 gig and 140gig i think i prob used the 20 gig as os and the rest for everything else



Before i had 2 HDs one 80gig SATA that crashed with OS and programfiles on it and 1 120 gig with 3 partitions One with OS, games, downloads

No i read that partitioning my drives is not good anymore? How can I 1 put this new drive i got back together (tried WD tools didnt work)

and 2. Should i re do all my drives with no partitions

something about twice as much seek time? I do take forever to verify in BF2 and i think this may be the problem cause i always had this 3 partition drive in when i tried cause it is the games lol

Really want to get rid of that too
 
should i even worry about it? I would have to format both drives to put them back together right?

 
Just put your XP install disk in and boot up. When it asks you if you want to remove partitions say yes. It will format the whole drive and all data will be destroyed of course. I agree that you should never install partitions unless you really have to.
