Need some help identifying an 80's toy

I know this was an expensive toy back in the 80's.

Track something? Something Track?
Can't remember!

Edit:
It was Grey
Had 6-8 wheels
Had a programmable touchpad at the rear
You could program it to go X feet, then turn, go Y feet, etc. (Thanks Joemonkey)
Thanks to chusteczka for the name!!!

TRACK-MAN, unfortunately HE-MAN came first and there wasn't much demand for a superhero who beat his opponents by racing them

No, not track man. It's an electronic programable wheeled vehicle. You could by a trailer for it seperately.

I remember my brother had one of those, you could program it to go X feet, then turn, go Y feet, etc. Was pretty neat

Yes, we're getting close! This is the toy.

All we need is the name 🙂

I actually never heard of these before... when I was little, the tyco heads!up turbo RC cars hit the market, and I loved mine, but they broke easy 🙁

+10 geek points for determining that actual feet traveled were NOT represented by programmed feet as well. I argued with several boys about this and finally borrowed one of those wheel measures from the keeper of the ball field and proved them wrong!

Wow...glad i didn't have one though. I would've taken it apart on about the 3rd day and modded it not to have any special effects sounds, thereby completely breaking the electronics. 😀
