I have Special Edition posters of Star Wars, Empire, and Return along with the movie poster for Episode 1.

It has gotten real hot in our house this summer since our A/C unit in the house died. I was looking up at my posters the other day and notice that they looked wrinkled in the frames.

I took the empire poster out of the frame and sure enough it does look wrinkled.

Its not folded or anything it just looks wavy, and I think it has come from the summer heat.

Is there anyway I can make these posters non-wrinkled/flat again?

Take it to a BluePrint shop, they can take out just about any wrinkle, fold, crease, whatever out of anything.

I might do that, but I was wondering if there is anything I could try at home?

Try a warm iron. A little bit of steam might also help. I used this to flatten out old and wrinkled currency.

I was thinking about the iron thing, but I don't want to burn them or anything :)

If you use a good iron you will not burn the paper. Try it out on similar paper first and see if you are happy with the results. Worked for me :)

thanks, Im not sure what iron we have but I'll give it a try tommorow.

I think if I go quickly over the paper and don't wait to long on it, I want have any problems.

I hope it takes the wrinkles out, cause they look bad the way they are.

also what setting should I try on the iron?

<< well, why not put the poster under a tshirt and iron or something like that? >>

that could work as well! And the risks would be cut down on messing up. :)
