need some help for data recovery

I need to recover some files on my computer that i deleted a little bit ago. they are my g/f's powerpoint teacher presentations.

please help! any free programs that i can use out there? i tried out Norton Unerase Wizard, but that didn't do anything.

also, if anyone d/l'ed the APC Lost & Found program that was offered free, can you please send it my way? Email would be perfect.

Well, don't load any software on it, that is going to reduce your chances of getting the files back. Safest thing to do is to take the drive out and put it in another PC as a secondary HD. Then if you have to load software to recover the files, it won't be on the same disk.
