Need some help "fixing" broken capacitor

I recently purchased a Radeon AIW 7500 video card which I received today. However in transit it appears that a capacitor broke off. A picture of the place where online pictures of the card show it to be attached is below (the same type that broke off is circled for size reference):

Pic of video card and capacitor

I need some feedback on what effect if any this would have (I assume it has some purpose or it wouldn't be there in the first place) also as well as any fixes. The "break" looks very clean and the two metal "feet" on the bottom of the capacitor look in good shape. Does it need to be soldered back on? Glued? or what?

Any and all thoughts and comments appreciated

If the break was very clean, and you have your "feet" still on the capacitor, as well as some remains sticking up from the point where it broke off from, if you have basic soldering skills it should be fairly easy.

If you're not comfortable with soldering, I'm sure you can find someone in town who will be able to do it for you.

Well my soldering skills are nonexistent.....what about the conductive epoxy used to attach heatsinks to chipsets or perhaps a simpler Home Depot-esque type purchase/fix?

Wouldn't recomment the conductive epoxy with a capacitor as it will likely change the electircal properties of the cap. It should be a simple soldering job though.

OK, I guess this old dog needs to learn a new trick. There is an old mobo I have with a leaky capacitor I have put off getting fixed for a couple months now too.....any recommendations on the type of solder for this job?
