Need some help finding the right program

I have text files that are over 120MB and notepad, wordpad and textpad all hang for VERY long times when attempting to open these log files. Does anyone know of a program (hopefully free, or one with a trial version) that would open the files?

UltraEdit32 is a VERY nice text/Hex editor. It has a 30-day trial and is $30 to purchase. It's worth every dime. I use it primarily to look through log files that are in excess of 100MB.

EditPad Lite works pretty well too, I just opened a 160MB file and it took around 10 seconds.

Yeah, I second this. I use the Pro version and just opened a 265 meg file in less than 4 seconds.

Edit: just opened a 750 meg file in 12 seconds.
