I'm going to help you out here with links to the FS thread, cause in reality you need a CPU/RAM/PSU. Just double checking that the motherboard is S939, yes? I know that the eVGA 133-K8-NF41 is but unfamiluar with the ax.

CPU- $185

DA is a good guy, you won't have any issues buying from him.

RAM- $73.50

Look at the Rebate

PSU- $48.70

Some people dislike this PSU, others love em. The people I've known who used them have no complaints

I understand you don't want value RAM, but keep in mind good OC'ing RAM (for 2x512MB) usually starts at $125+

If you want a rig that can play the latest games (granted not with all settings max'd) then you need to have a balanced system. I can tell you right now that HD space will become an issue for you. You already know that you need a new PSU, and when you have cash to upgrade and you plan on using these forums to sell your stuff then making a return on your purchase is possible.

Right now if I were you, I'd grab a cheap 2800+, some value ram off the boards because they're cheaper (if you do go this route only deal with people with a lot of heat since you have none, valuable piece of advice there) and a QUALITY PSU. CPU's and RAM are two things that are really easy to sell back quick on these forums.

My 2 cents, would hate to have you spend $300 on hardware and it won't even post because of your PSU.

is the ultra 500 watt psu in your 4sale thread still available??

It is, if it wasn't it would say pending on it. Best way to get ahold of Joe is through PM's...meaning click on the lil lock icon.

Guys, I got the venice 3000 ybble 0524 on the way, and i cant find any info on this stepping. If anyone has one or know anybody who does, please post ocing results. and im looking at this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...-details.asp?EdpNo=876412&Sku=ULT31558 Seems like a good deal, but my mobo has 24 pin connector and i am using a pci-x card without an external power connector. IS it good for overclocking? Does the extra 4 pins affect the video performance or cpu ocing?

1 more thing, i want to get 1 stick of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220139 I'll ge 1 stick now, and another in about a month, so i can hold with 512 megs for a little. I read some reviews and its samsung tccd chips. Should I get it??

BY the way, i got a 36gb raptor from my friend 4 50 bucks. lol i know hes an idiot because he used it for 2 weeks and his dad got him a new pc
Thanks in advance :)
