Need some good CS:Source servers. High Tick.

So I just got banned literally a minute ago because I commented that "it wasn't the first time Q members have cheated." One of the members was 38 and 1 and had just gotten a headshot on me while he was in the air. Others were complaining too and they were getting banned as well. Regulars to boot.

And it's true. Members of Q do hack. Wallhacks, aimhacks, whatever. One of them even admitted to using the aimhack whenever he was the last one alive on his team, because "he doesn't like to lose." I've been playing CS for a long time and can spot these things pretty easily.

Now I understand that they pay the server costs and can do whatever they want on their server. But that doesn't mean people have to join their server.

So this is just a word of warning. If you join their server you may encounter admins hacking, and you will get banned for pointing this out.

So does anyone have any friendly high-tick servers that they play on?

what do you mean by good? As in, low-latency, or good players, or high traffic?

Hostile Minds has a good 24/7 office server. 100 tick, 22 max player limit (unfortunately, this also means that the server is usually full). This was my regular server until I found a WC3 mod server, but I still visit whenever WC3 is down. They also have a map rotation server and a DM server, for variation.

Generally, everyone at HM is nice, except sometimes the admins get a little abusive. Nothing too horrible, though- a little slapping and whatnot. Some of the clan members are insane good, though, and aren't friendly - meaning they'll kick your ass without remorse

Hey, if they're good, they're good. If they hack, well that's a different story. I've got no problem with the occasional humorous slap or teleport, but outright wall and aimhacking is just sad.

I dont think I've ever seen one of Quosis's admins admit to cheating, or blatantly cheat. I like his server.

n00bsgalore.us is fun, they are upgrading their servers too soon.

I have to recommend trying out my clan's source server: 66.165.122.174:27015.

We are a relatively new and small community, but our emphasis is more on having fun than winning, and we are always looking for new regulars.
