Need some cool sneakers

Any suggestions? I'm looking through Zappos right now, not sure what to get though. I'd like something bright colored since all my shoes are darker/muted tones.

Go for the cool toe sneakers ...

I usually buy Nike shoes. Given that I realized the other week that I've had my current pair for around 7 years, I figured it might be time to replace them just because they're starting to look worn. They actually still work just fine (no leaks or anything like that).

This is probably the next shoe that I'm going to get:

I just need to figure out what to put as my Nike ID 😛.

I do like New Balance....what makes them special though? I actually live right next to their outlet store

a New Balance outlet? like, a real outlet, or jsut a store?

I'd love me some cheap NB.

There's a Skechers outlet store nearby that I go to about once or twice a year. They aren't the greatest quality, most comfortable shoes...but $60 for two pair of nice looking sneakers pretty much makes that a moot point.

I just bought a pair of Nike Dunks SB, I also recently got Nike Jordan Retro high which is based on Dunks style as well.

I wanted Nike Zoom Mogan though from Zappos

New Balance Headquarters is in Brighton, MA. They have a large outlet store there with sneakers 40-60% off retail. Plus, tons of clothing and other stuff at 50% off. Great place.

It's weird, I went there once and couldn't find anything priced that well.....most of it was regular price 65-95 for the sneakers/shoes.

I heard those are pretty good if you run on concrete. Hit a pebble you'll be wishing for real soles.

There are some versions that have a thicker sole that makes it less painful in those situations. Got back a little while ago running along the river in my VFFs, plenty of gravel and small rocks.
