Need some beginners SCSI help. ***ANOTHER QUESTION***

hey all!

i just got my first scsi drive since a freaking long time!!!

well it's a seagate baracuda 9.1 gb 7200 rpm drive. It's UWSCSI, and i have a adaptec 2490UW scsi card. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO INSTALL IT!!!!!

someone help me out. should i use ez-scsi? or what? i want to install win2k...

can someone help me out.

Well can you boot from your win2k CD? You should be able to. Win2k will have support for that SCSI card of your and will install to that drive. If not then a win98se startup disk might do the trick. (work for me at least) Start with cd-rom support and then just run winnt from the i386 folder when everything is loaded up.

ok, i got another question

i have an internal drive, 9.1 gb scsi, that's setup and running. but i also have an external cdrw drive, WHICH drive SHOULD HAVE THE TERMINATOR on, the internal, the external, or both. I am not sure, so i dont have the other drive hooked up yet.
