Need some advise on changing fan leads

I have a few fans with just 2 pin leads and don't want to connect them to the mobo even if it had enough connections.

I would like to change the leads to either 4 pin molex connectors or at least 3 pin connectors so I can simply use a 3pin to 4pin cable example.
What is the best way to change the fans leads? Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. My case has two hot swappable banks of four fans for each side of the case (2), and all of the fans are 2-pin. I am repacing them with 3-pin fans. You can repin the cables, using a pin extractor, or you could just cut the wires and solder them if you have some decent soldering skills...
Tas.

i would just get hold of some 3-pin headers, pop the leads out of the current 2-pin headers and slide em into the new 3-pin headers. right? am i missing something?
