Huh. Your system doesn't consume more than around 200W at load. This is a good example of what can happen with a crap power supply - it will fail even at a seemingly light load, and when it fails it goes down with a bang.

Corsair CX430 £36 - it'll do the job
Corsiar CX500 £45 - has two PCIe connectors for a more powerful GPU
Antec HCG-520 £56 - more powerful than CX500 (especially the +12V output), slightly higher efficiency, overall better quality
