Right now I have all the new part to my computer that I am building except for a video card. I'm looking into getting a X1900XTX for around $320 but I'm afraid that I won't get the most out of the card with a 17" LCD display. I'm looking at a 20.1' display that has the 1600x1200 resoultion, but it would cost me around another $320.
Should I get a X800(cheap PCI-E card) just to finish my computer so I could use it for college and upgrade around December hoping that the prices of LCDs with 1600x1200 resolution+X1900XTX drops down considerably or just go for the X1900XTX and the $300 monitor? Other suggestions such as different card, etc?

My situation has changed a little. I have a 6600gt that I can use to finish my computer for college so I'm not in a hurry to find a graphics card.

However I'm still conflicted on the X1900XTX. Do you think that I can find a better deal for the X1900XTX when December rolls around and if so by how much? Also do you think the prices of LCDs that can do 1600x1200 and above would have dropped and by how much? I'm not really familiar with the market and its trends and would really like some inputs. I would like to be able to play UT 2007 when it comes out.
