21 and I get my BS in chem in August. I am thinkin of goin abroad to some really sh!tty place (Africa? Indo?) and do some volunteering for 2 months or so. Would like some suggestions/tips if anyone of you have any experiences.

i'm not sure about the peace corps but i think they handle your costs.
the volunteering thing in thailand i think my friend had to pay for the flight and any non-volunteer-work travel.
my buddy who went to london just paid for the round-trip ticket then made his own travel money bartending.
