I have this Sony Walkman player\recorder, its the MZ-N10 NET MD model.
Problem is, that is all I have, i dont have the usb cradle or anything else for it.

So, I wonder if there is somewhere i can get enough parts for it so it can be usable, like the usb cradle, etc. I went to the sony website and got software and manual, but cant find anywhere where i can get parts for it. Since I got it free if i had to invest a few dollars in parts it might be worth my while, depending on the cost.

The other way to go would be to sell it as is, so what would it be worth. The person i got it from says its basically new, he just lost all the parts for it, so i imagine it works. It looks brand new, not a scratch on it.

Cany anyone direct me to where i can get parts for it or put a value on it, as is?

thanks

I didnt think of that as i tend to stay away from ebay and stick with fora, almost exclusively people i know on the fora, like that isekii guy, oh, thats you, lol. Least i know i wont get ripped off when i stick with people i know!!

Go to the sony website, click on ...support or contact us... and tell that you recently made the purchase but lost parts during a move. Ask them where you can buy replacements... they will either give them to you or tell you where you can buy them.

To GoodDad, i explained where it came from, dont appreciate the remark!

To all others, i went here: http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/web/index.jsp and failed to find a single part for it but i did email them so maybe i will hear back from them. There is also a 1 800 number i will try during the week, maybe i can get parts, hope they arent too expensive.

Does anyone here know what parts i need and what parts i can live without? I only need to be able to transfer audio files from the computer to the player and also to power the unit itself, which has a rechargeable battery. Maybe i answered my own questions. But here is the list of parts that go with the player.

Box Contents:
MZ-N10 High Speed Net MD Walkman Recorder
AC-ES605 AC Power Adaptor
USB Cradle (Battery Charging Stand),
RM-MC33EL/S Slim Stick Back-Lit LCD Remote
MDR-A34SP Headphones,
Dry Battery Case (for 1 x "AA")
Digital Cord;SonicStage? ver 1.5 CD-Rom with Net MD Simple Burner Software, USB Cable

This is the pricing for the missing items. I wonder if there is anyone out there who knows what i could do without should i go about getting some of the missing parts. Seems like way too much money to fork over. The remote isnt needed, that is pretty obvious. Is there anyone out there who can tell me what i absolutely have to have and what i can do without?
The whole setup can be had for $250 to $300 so it could be that buying even the minimum parts isnt worth it.

Item 1 - AC Adapter, 147753911 -- $43.95 ea.
Item 2 - USB Cradle, 147751331 -- $55.95 ea.
Item 3 - Remote, 147757312 -- $82.95 ea.
Item 4 - Battery case, 141730421 -- $62.95 ea.
Item 5 - USB Cable, 182464721 -- $33.42 ea.

Or, if I just decide to sell it, i wonder what it would be worth. Maybe i could get $50?
