Is there anything U of Toledo can do? Career service/consultation? Usually MBA schools has a good career development office. Me and my wife's first job out of MBA are through school's career service.

Well, I talked to her and she said she used the career services extensively, but University of Toledo has such a small network... with small companies.

Correction: she does have a job, but a low paying, part time job doing accounting.

anyone know how people like these get working visas?

it's not like she's in some high-demand critical job where there's not enough people trained in the US (which was the original purpose of these work visas)

aren't there enough US citizen accounting grads looking for jobs in the US right now?

She knew the right people (her parents knew the right people, actually).

Not in Ohio anymore. In San Jose, CA

Check with local Universities to see if they have any job fairs and if outside people can attend? I am sure Stanford and Berkley gets good companies in their job fairs, but the competition is gonna be tough. San Jose State probably don't attract too many good companies, but I could be wrong.
