Need software that generates network traffic

Anyone know of a software package that can generate lots of network traffic between two servers? I suppose I could just initiate a large file transfer, but I would rather like to have something that does it without any intervention.

Mainly I need constant activity. Its a nortel gigbit switch and I have 2 servers with gigabit nics and 3 server with 100mbit nics attached, I would like to at least try to stress it with those.
