Need software for email news letter

I'm doing some work on the website for a local minor league soccer team and they want to send out an email from time to time as the development of the team moves foward (their first season starts in spring)


Requirements:

-emails must not get caught up in spam guards/removers
-must allow a large number of addresses... list is already in the area of 500 people!
-must allow for a template to be used in the emails... if I can upload an exisiting HTML file as a template that would be awesome.
-free is awesome, but *might* not be required.

A web interface is not necessarry, some software that can run from one PC would work just fine.


Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. 🙂
 
i don't know any that won't get caught in spam, so you'll probablly have to pay for it. But it's not that hard posting on the website to allow this email or not to block it. If you want to do that you can use yahoo.
