Need SoB help

TallBill

I have really horrible internet connection here, and I cant tell if my blocks are being transmitted properly. When i check my graph at the sob website, my rate only shows the progress that my other machine is making. Its showing about a 1 m/sec rate, when my other computer is about 1m/sec and this one is 1.5m/sec.

So is there any way to manually flush a machine? My blocks completed should be much higher.

Well did you point the queue to the SB server and you're clients to the sbqueue. It will be the pc name and port 1717. Be sure to tick run server on the sbqueue and to type a number of wu and click fetch.

What exactly is the proplem and what have you tried yet?

put in the computer name and port 1717, and sb.exe says could not resolve hostname. And yes, run server is checked.

Ok, I figured it out. For some reason, it seems like the credits still arren't showing up. Maybe sob doesn't like keys from this side of the world. Who knows.

Are both computers that are running SoB with you, or is one still back home in the States?

Just trying to comprehend what's going on with you numbers 😕

One computer is running in the states, and is getting about 1M / sec, which is basically what my stats show. This laptop here is getting about 1.5M / sec and doesn't seem to be reporting anywhere. Right now the wireless is down anyways, but it never appeared to register anywhere in the stats.

I've heard from some people that SBQueue sometimes has problems when it can't resolve a hostname for an IP. I've been planning to fix this, but I haven't had time lately. For now, try entering 127.0.0.1 or "localhost" if the queue is on the same machine you're running SB on.
