Need Snow Boots

Since I'm going off to Chicago for school, I need to pick up some snow boots. What brands tend to be good and somewhat affordable (preferably <$100)? Thanks for any recommendations.

I would like to worry about it in November, but I would prefer to get them before going off to school just so I don't have to worry about it at that point.

I live in the "snowbelt" of Central Ontario (think 200-250cm [79-100in.] average snowfall a winter) and haven't worn snow boots since I was 12...

It's just snow, you'll survive 😛

Plus, you're in a city; there'll hardly be snow on the sidewalks for more than a few hours.
